2008-2009 College Teaching Awards

The Teaching/Advising Awards Committee of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has recommended that Dr. James Horvath receive one of the 2008-2009 College Teaching Awards.  Congratulations!  Many fine CLAS teachers were nominated for these awards and success in this competition is a signal achievement.

An award of $2,000 will be made available to Dr. Horvath in recognition of his contributions to teaching.  All Teaching/Advising Award winners will be officially recognized during a reception at the President’s House. 

The committee was very impressed with Dr. Horvath’s teaching philosophy statement and this may soon be available online.
