Hong to receive Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award

Assistant Professor Sukwon Hong has been selected by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) to receive one of thirty Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards for 2007. These awards provide seed money for research by junior faculty at ORAU member institutions. They are intended to enrich the research and professional growth of young faculty and result in new funding opportunities.  

As a consortium of doctoral-granting academic institutions, ORAU member universities share the common objective of advancing scientific research and education by creating mutually beneficial collaborative partnerships involving academe, government, and industry. ORAU emphasizes the development and promotion of partnerships with national laboratories.
