McElwee-White receives the UF Doctoral Mentoring Awards.

The Graduate School has announced that Professor Lisa McElwee-White has been selected as one of five recipients of the University's Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentoring Award for 2008-2009.  This award is the most prestigious honor given by UF in recognition of graduate education.  The nomination process begins with past and present students, making the award especially meaningful.

We have not had many of these in Chemistry.  The previous recipient from our department was Jim Winefordner in 2001-2002.
