Martin recipient of the 2009 Charles N. Reilley Award.

Prof. Charles R. Martin will receive the 2009 Charles N. Reilley Award given by the Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry recognizing an active researcher who has made a major contribution to the theory, instrumentation, or applications of electroanalysis.
Dr. Martin is the Crow Professor of Chemistry and has been at the University of Florida since the fall 1999. Dr. Martin received his Ph.D at the University of Arizona in 1980. His research interests are in the areas of Materials and Analytical Chemistry with special emphasis on nanomaterials and the bio/nano interface. Martin webpage
The Charles N. Reilley Award in Electroanalytical Chemistry is given in memory of one of the most distinguished analytical chemists of the 20th century. Reilley's interests were both fundamental and broad; he made seminal contributions not only to electroanalysis, but also optical spectroscopy, NMR, chromatography, data analysis, instrumentation, and surface analysis.
